    Nicolas Fleury is a Swiss citizen born in 1967.

    He is an advisor with 35 years of experience of leadership at international level, and one of the world’s most respected experts and influencer in standardization, with in-depth knowledge of ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards, and of the global standardization ecosystem.

    He has been an active contributor to the development and the transformation of ISO. He was appointed ISO Secretary-General (Acting) in 2017 after having led every single function of the ISO Central Secretariat in Geneva, from standards development to the sales of standards, information technology, communication, capacity building, legal, human resources, and finance.

    He was also a member of ISO's governing bodies (ISO Council, President's Committee, Strategy Committee, Nomination Committee and Oversight Committee), in charge of ISO's governance groups on commercial policy and finance. He was Chairman of the Board of the ISO Pension Fund.

    Beside his role in ISO, he was Chair of the Geneva group of TIGER 21, the premier peer membership organization for ultra-high net-worth individuals.

    He was President of the Municipality Council of Arzier-Le Muids in Switzerland, elected as independent candidate to serve the 2006-2011, 2011-2016 and 2016-2021 terms.

    Nicolas is an Honorary Professor of the University of Qingdao in China and a lecturer at various university programmes, sharing his experience and knowledge about standardization, international relations, geopolitics, leadership, responsible management, management of not-for-profit organizations, and performing work environments and culture.

    He is member of the board of the General Fund of the University of Geneva, an advisory board member of GSEM, the Geneva School of Economics and Management of the University of Geneva, of the UNCTAD and Family Business Network (FBN) Joint Global Initiative Family Business for Sustainable Development, and of Hintsa Performance, a global leader in human high-performance coaching with clients from Formula 1 champions to Fortune 500 CEOs.

    He holds a Master of Science (M Sc) in Economics, Business, and Industrial Sciences, with specializations in Marketing and Computer Science of the University of Geneva (1991), and an M.B.A. magna cum laude at the University of Geneva (2004). He also graduated from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne (Orchestrating Winning Performance in 2014, High Performance Boards in 2020 and Winning Sustainable Strategies in 2021).

    Julien Pitton is a Swiss citizen born in 1963, married with 2 children.

    He has devoted more than 30 years to supporting corporates and NGO’s developments. From 1988 to 2000, he worked for the Paribas Group in the Leveraged Buy-Out Department in Geneva, the team of the Professor P. Vernimmen to create the Advisory Department in Paris in 1993.

    From 1996 to 2000, Julien created and managed the first Paribas pan European Corporate Finance Group.

    From 2000 to 2004, he initiated and implemented the Merchant Banking activities of Private Bank Ferrier Lullin in Geneva, affiliated to UBS Group.

    Since 2004, Julien specialized in advisory on governance and implementation of strategic business initiatives, particularly on multi-stakeholder projects management for public-private initiatives, in the fields of science and education.

    Julien was appointed twice as Officer and Treasurer of ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, covering the two terms from 2008-2014 , which included the Presidency of the ISO Central Secretariat Pension Fund.

    From 2013 to 2016, he served Benjamin de Rothschild family as Managing Director of International Corporate Finance at the Edmond de Rothschild Group based in Geneva.

    Since 2016, Julien specialized in fundraising for companies and non-for-profit and philanthropic foundations, in strategy implementation and governance, in corporate finance, in PE Investments decisions and in M&A transactions (in Switzerland, France, UK and Greece, South-East Asia, Africa and Russia). Julien is consensus driven and focuses on aligning interests. He is serving as well as Special Advisor to Families in Business based out of Switzerland, Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore and Dhaka, supporting financing strategies and risks assessments.

    As for his academic background, Julien holds a Master of Science (M Sc) in Economics, Business, and Industrial Sciences, with specializations in Accounting and Banking Law of the University of Geneva (1988), HEC Paris in 1991 (Investment Decisions), London Business School in 1998 (Executive Management), Stanford University in 1998 (Executive Programme in Strategy and Organization) and IMD Lausanne (Orchestrating Winning Performance in 2002 and High Performance Boards in 2016).
